Crypto has to be fully paid for and cannot be traded on margin.
Since cryptocurrencies trade 24/7/365 and do not take a break like stock, options, and futures, settlement times will vary depending on the day that a position is closed. Trades closed before anytime on Sunday and those closed before 12am CT Monday thru Wednesday will settled T+2. Trades placed before 12am CT Thursday and Friday will settle T+4. Trades closed on Saturday (at any time) will settle T+3.
For example, if a closing crypto trade was placed on Wednesday before midnight then funds would be settled Friday morning (two days from the trade date). After the position is liquidated on Wednesday funds are then wired between BarclayOptions and Apex on Thursday, and then come Friday morning you will see that cash amount available in your crypto buying power as well as your cash available to withdraw.
